Paul Eliot

The service in memory of Paul Eliot was held at St. Neot church yesterday afternoon Tuesday 15th September, it was very well attended by fishermen from throughout Cornwall and Devon.
Paul died last Friday 4th September, he was a life member of Bodmin Anglers Association and although primarily a "Fowey fisherman" Paul through his Wainsford hatchery and tireless service on many local angling organizations and lobbying of "officialdom" did a great deal to promote and sustain the quality of the fishing in Cornwall.
For many years salmon for  re-stocking the Camel have been bred at the Wainsford hatchery and through Paul's dedication and expertise has consistently produced more fry for re-stocking both the Camel and the Fowey than most other hatcheries in the South West.
Our condolences go to his wife and family together with our thanks for their support to him in his endeavours on behalf of all local anglers.
Thank you Paul.
