Stannon Rehabilitation
Bodmin Anglers Association have been working for several years at clearing the Stannon Stream of hemlock and other water weeds which were clogging the gravels to the detriment of salmon and sea trout trying to spawn. This year as usual Bodmin AA members have been working to remove weed and obstructions in the Stannon stream. This year we started work on Sunday 12th June 2011 and completed the job on Sunday 26th June
Over the years the job's been getting less strenuous and is now a matter of removing the new growth which is certainly a lot easier than the task we were confronted with when we began several years ago!

This year's famous few with Peter and Derrick missing
